The University of Science Library was established on the foundation of the Graduate Library - This model of the modern library was a project supported by the Department of Post-Graduate, Ministry of Education and Training and the University of Ho Chi Minh city. The Foundation Day was May 11th 1995.

The value of a library is not in how many information resources it has, but in what services are crowded to the users through the use of new technologies and educated staff.

Objectives

The University of Science Library has been built as a 21st century library using new technologies to assist patrons in accessing and retrieving information easily and to enable librarians to help patrons meet their information needs efficiently and effectively.
