ABOUT THE PROJECT
The ASEAN Youth Cultural Forum was initiated to appreciate and share each of the ASEAN countries' cultures and traditions. The Forum has become AUN’s annual activity dedicated to young people who are talented in either traditional or contemporary performances.

PROJECT INCEPTION
The Forum presents a unique opportunity for the ASEAN to express its deepest cultural and traditional values. The participants, in particular the youths, share their unique ideas and experiences of music, songs, and dances through lecture, workshop and performances. In addition, the Forum helps young people to develop adequate knowledge and good understanding of diverse cultures and to encourage unanimity across the region through the exchange of different cultures and ideas.

HIGHLIGHTED MILESTONES
The Forum covers one-week activities in which participants can involve themselves in the essence of ASEAN heritages. The Forum, then, will cover four main activities namely;

-  workshop
-  cultural programme
-  cultural trip
-  The initiation of new performances which are encouraged by and extracted from the workshop. The new performances are mostly the new combination of the traditional performances of each ASEAN country and the lesson learnt from the host country during the workshop.
