VNU-HCMUS Signs MoA with Hanyang University (HYU, Korea)

Published on 25 September 2015

Earlier on Sep 21st 2015, VNU - Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (VNU-HCMUS) delegations visited Hanyang University (HYU) Seoul Campus in Korea for the MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) signing ceremony.

At the event, presidents of both universities agreed to the terms of future partnership in researching and exchanging programs. This included a "2+2 BSc Program" and collaboration with College of Natural Science at HYU during 05 years starting from Sep 2015. According to this agreement, undergraduates of VNU-HCMUS can now apply for a Double Degree BSc Program (02 years at HCMUS; 02 years at HYU; English program). Thus, a full scholarship will be offer as they finish their final 02 years at HYU. Further, they can continue with higher education at HYU for MSc & PhD programs.

We highly appreciate the hospitality during our visit at HYU on Sep 21st and 22nd. This will be a foundation for HCMUS to strengthen our cooperation with international partners in the near future.
